I am a certified Reiki Master and have been practicing Reiki Therapy since 2010. I completed my Reiki Master training in August of 2021. I thoroughly enjoy the practice and am still amazed by the sometimes subtle and sometimes miraculous benefits that Reiki has to offer.
What is Reiki?
“The Reiki method is not only for curing illness. Its true purpose is to correct the heart-mind, keep the body fit, and lead a happy life using the spiritual capabilities human beings were endowed with since birth.” Etched in the memorial stone of Mikao Usui, founder of the Usui System of Reiki Healing
“Reiki” (ray – key) is a healing practice that brings balance and an enhanced sense of well-being for the purpose of healing. Reiki can be practiced with or without touch and also at a distance. That seems unbelievable, but as we are all made up of the same energy, it makes perfect sense.
When Can Reiki Help?
When stress wears you down.
If you are feeling anxious or irritable and no matter what you try, you just can’t seem to relax Reiki may be beneficial and just the thing you need. Sometimes just having someone listen to you and take care of you for a change is the best medicine in the world. A Reiki session is truly relaxing and can help you cope with stress. Life’s demands can become too much and have the capacity to create illness in our bodies. You deserve to do something kind for yourself.
When you are feeling ill or just not right.
If you are worried that your worrying is impeding your healing process, when you are in treatment for a major or even a minor medical condition, Reiki can help. You can have a fabulous medical team, but the side effects are concerning. A Reiki practitioner is there just for you. Medical treatments can be much more effective when you are in a positive, healing state of mind.
